MaxTow’s Black & Blue Double Vision™ Gauge Series features a black gauge dial and blue LED display with an illuminated red needle. You get the classic look of an analog gauge combined with a blue digital numerical readout. This 2-1/16” (52mm) temperature gauge for transmissions outperforms the competition with features like stepper motor technology which allows for all needle movement to be exceptionally smooth and all gauge readings to be extremely accurate. Brightness Recall remembers the previous brightness setting before powering down your truck.

Why Is A MaxTow Diesel Truck Trans Temp Gauge So Important?

One of the major factors in reducing the life of a vehicle’s transmission is overheating, and one of the main reasons a truck transmission temperature overheats is due to the strain of towing larger and heavier amounts of cargo. MaxTow’s automatic trans temp gauge will monitor transmission running temp during a larger haul and alert you in the event of ATF temperature spikes. Another issue is older transmission fluid. Older transmission fluid will be less effective at performing its primary functions, one of the most important of which is keeping the system cool. An ATF Temp Gauge will help you troubleshoot to catch these kinds of issues.

What Temperature Should Your Transmission Be?

The optimal range of the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) temperature for your truck is in the area of 170° and 225° Fahrenheit being about the maximum transmission temperature. An ATF temperature gauge will alert you to any spikes so you can immediately trouble-shoot before you experience any critical damage to your truck's engine. Trucks that benefit from a transmission oil temp gauge include pickups running long distances, towing heavy cargo, and racing applications. Achieve a safe trans oil temp and extend the life of your engine with a MaxTow Double Vision™ Transmission Running Temp Gauge.
