MaxTow’s Tachometer gauges are a great addition to trucks with a gas engine. A tach gauge’s measurements relate directly to a truck’s engine, showing the rate of rotation of an engine’s crankshaft while also usually indicating a safe range of rotation speeds. Among the many benefits of analog and digital tachometer gauges is helping a driver choose the best throttle and gear settings depending on the type of road conditions. Some engines produce most of their torque at lower RPMs, and experience lower torque as RPMs increase. Other motors must spin very quickly to produce the most power, which can often be seen in smaller gasoline engines. By knowing at which RPM rate your engine produces the most power using your MaxTow Tachometer gauge, you’ll be able to get the best performance out of your gas truck.

Your MaxTow Tachometer Gauge comes standard with everything required for a complete and proper installation, including tach gauge wiring and any additional accessories. As part of MaxTow’s auto gauge tach package you’ll receive 3’ and 6’ extended wiring harnesses for both power (3’) and source (9’) connections to ensure you’ll have more than enough wire for the installation of your gauge. All mounting hardware and installation instructions that are included will make the install process easy. You will also receive a one year limited warranty and unlimited tech support.
