WHY DO I NEED A WATER TEMPERATURE GAUGE?
The temperature of your cooling system water could be the most important temperature to know about your truck. Your analog or digital water temperature gauge is essential for any driver in the event their truck is displaying unusually high temperatures. A high reading could be caused by several factors, such as radiator blockage, a broken or malfunctioning fan belt, shortage of water in the system, failure of a water pump or thermostat, and more. These types of issues tend to manifest most often in hot weather, as well as in “stop and go” traffic which can put additional strain on your truck’s engine.

For a Ford Power Stroke engine that is put to the test on a daily basis -- taking on the stress of a heavy work detail -- a water temp gauge will help to protect your engine’s integrity.
