How Do I Install a MaxTow Wideband Air Fuel Ratio Gauge for Trucks?
Installation begins with adding the wideband O2 sensor to your exhaust system. We include a weld-in bung that allows you to quickly add the sensor once this adapter is in place. Run the oxygen sensor wire harness to the AFR gauge, and easily attach it to the included gauge air fuel controller using the Plug and Play modular connectors. The power harness connects to the battery or fuse panel and also easily clips into the gauge air fuel controller. Then run the gauge AFR wiring harness from the controller to the gauge. Find a location for the wideband gauge on the A-pillar, dashboard or another area inside of your truck, and once mounted you’ll be able to view readings. MaxTow makes the process easy with detailed step-by-step instructions that will walk you through this entire process.
What’s Included With This Wideband Air Fuel Ratio Gauge Kit?
This MaxTow Wideband O2 Gauge Kit comes complete with the 4.9 LSU Wideband Oxygen Sensor required for installation. You’ll also receive the Digital 12 Volt Wideband Controller Unit with Data Logging Output, and Weld-In Bung for the sensor installation. Wiring harnesses include the 13’ sensor wire, 7’ gauge AFR harness, 3’ data logging output wire and 5’ power wire, plus all mounting hardware.
